I have recently started training with Jeannie and cannot recommend her enough! She is so warm, friendly, encouraging and most importantly really cares about your goals, fitness and progression. The gym studio looks amazing, the equipment is brand new and you have your own little cheerleader in Coach George. This is the best decision I have made to start personal training with her and if you are hesitating, please don’t, you won’t regret it!
I injured my hamstring earlier this year and went to see Ben at Habitat Gym. He helped rehab my hamstring to get me back sprinting and playing basketball again. He has also kept me injury free with a strength and conditioning program. Ideal facility for general training, rehab and athletic performance.

I wanted to get stronger and back in shape after having my little one, and Jeannie designed the best personalized program for me that allows me to push myself and get gradually stronger and fitter with every PT session. I can’t say enough good things about Jeannie, who is a fantastic personal trainer and all-round excellent human. I’ve been training with her since March 2022 in powerlifting and the progress I’ve made has blown me away. Weights have gone way up but more importantly technique has become rock solid, which is a key priority for me. Jeannie and the coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, breaks down tricky exercises in ways that even my sleep-addled brain can handle early in the morning, and is highly empathetic and listens to what my body is trying to tell me. She also knows just how far to challenge me, and every time she’s suggested I can handle another 2.5kg on the bar, she’s always been right. I love every session and have never felt so strong, a mindset that now spills out into areas of my life. I can’t sing her praises enough!
Jeannie is such a professional personal trainer, who really listens and customizes her training plans according to your needs. Training has been the one of the best decisions I have ever made! I started noticing changes in my body within the first month which has kept me super motivated to continue training with her! Jeannie will not only be your PT but also your friend. I love how encouraging she is, and how she motivates me between my sets (esp when I am complaining haha). I’m so glad I found Habitat Gym, Jeannie has to be one of the most kind hearted person i have ever met. Finding Habitat Gym and getting in contact with them was a breeze, then the first initial consultation was great, the coaches are so welcoming and is determined to help. Each training session is honestly breathtaking (in a good way), the encouragement and drive to help you reach your goals is amazing. I’m a person who needs encouragement and needs to be pushed to my limits and Jeannie has done that and more. I wouldn’t choose anyone else to train me.
I’ve always been someone who hated exercising because I always fear failing and then hurting myself. However, since training with Jeannie, I’m slowly getting more and more confident every week. I can feel myself getting stronger and the fear to try things isn’t so strong when you have such a supportive trainer next to you. Her weekly check ins and chats throughout the weeks makes me feel like more of a friend than just a client. I can’t wait to continue my health journey and I’m so grateful Jeannie is the one helping me through it.
Jeannie has made me fall in love with strength training! Jeannie is a very knowledgeable PT who explains (and demonstrates) exercises very well. My favourite thing is that she explains clearly the reasons for each movement/action, that makes it easy for me to retain exercises. She is very observant about my progress, and knows exactly when to push me harder. With Jeannie around I don’t worry about increasing the weight on my squats and deadlifts. Her gym is well-equipped and she keeps it very clean. Plus, she always has a fun playlist on which adds on to the whole experience. I’d recommend her without hesitation.
Habitat Gym have really changed my life for the better. For someone who use to dislike the idea of exercising due to the fact that I was uncertain of where to begin and also because I lacked the confidence to take myself to the gym. After training with Habitat Gym, I have found myself starting to feel more confident and also excited to work out more regularly.
